I miss my grandma. She passed away on Wednesday 1st of February 2012. A rush of memories with her rushed through my head as I was doing this. She can't stay at home for too long, she gets bored easily. She always asks us (me or the siblings) to get her avocado juice when we're out. I'm glad I got to saw her last summer. Rest in peace Jatti.

Learning to use illustrator... it's actually quite fun! I'm trying to make my cv more "alive". Also, this new change to blogger is making my eyes wonky o_O

i've been short on cash, so i had to put developing films on hold. most of these were taken during my sydney trip. the last photo was a picnic we had before summer ended.

i went on a gig spree last week. i watched pains of being pure at heart, M83, and laneway all at one go! it was awesome. definitely worth the money. M83 was amazing live, the light work was intense. i'm glad i didn't get a seizure from it or anything. geoff opened for pains of being pure at heart, his solo stuff is so fun! it's very 80s. it sorta reminds me of the prom scene on napoleon dynamite.

i hope everyone is having a better start to the year than me! i've been having one stressing event after the other. i only hope it gets better from here.

a few days back, i developed an old film that was meant to be developed ages ago. i forgot i took these when i went to the botanical garden with emily, wahyudi, and aga. it was a nice and chilled afternoon with black swans, beer, and a light shower. i particularly love the bamboo forest!

it's the 15th of january, the beginning of a new year. a lot of things has happened within the span of two weeks. the world is crazy. oh and, i'm moving out tomorrow! yay!

i found my old stash of art equipments from back in high school. it has been a while since i properly drew anything, so i was a bit nervous. the texture of the oil pastel doesn't really show here, i'll try to take a better picture once i get back to melbourne. which is in a 5 days! or 4.

i have just graduated yesterday! so yay for that. i can't wait to tackle 2012 with a more positive light, hopefully. the first photograph is of asti and i. it was taken in her one bedroom apartment. merry christmas and happy new year x

i've been under the weather lately. by under the weather i mean, staying at home and not feeling like going out. sometimes, i would rather stay at home and do nothing. these collages are the result of doing nothing.

oh, mum is coming to melbourne next week. i miss her.

this was taken at a station before lilydale. i think the station was called moorolbank, i forgot. putra and i went there to fix his kowa camera that he had bought at camberwell. the man fixing it is called yoshi, he had a lot of cameras at his place! it was nice trip to that end of melbourne.

i am currently saving up to get some filter lens for mochi, my canon ae-1 program. i have my eye on the soft and multi image filter lens.

the world forgetting, by the world forgot

i'm not very pleased with this one, mainly because i pictured the world being torn in to parts like an explosion.

i've been in the dark drawing demented animals and painting my nails. emily asked me to come out this afternoon to see her boyfriend play for melbourne music week. i chose to stay inside and curl up in a fetal position. in my defense, it looks extremely hot outside. heatstroke hot.

i took this at lygon square when we were waiting for putra's inhaler prescription. i have been spending a lot of time here. i adore the big windows.

putra is my current muse. the third photograph reminds me of the movie poster for 'everything is illuminated'. this was taken after we got off the train, we saw an area of cushion looking grass and putra started sleeping on it.

on another note, i've been on the hunt for planet books to sabotage for my collages. but no luck so far!
